Review on 🚀 Enhance Performance with Airaid 300-631-1 PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer by Jason Staggs

As the engine now has better low end throttle response

Definitely increased low end throttle response. There is a noticeable increase in torque in the lower and mid-range of the throttle, which means that throttle response has also improved in this area. The wobble has been reduced and I don't want to take it to high levels (above 4,000 rpm) to get the response I want. Now that the motor has better low-end response, I assume this will likely help increase the MPG. Also noticeably reduced "buzz" (when "ECO mode") is on. The package says "Whistle tells you it works". "Whistle" is inconspicuous at best. I've noticed a slight whistling around 2700-3100 rpm - in that range it's the only time I really hear a whistling sound. However, I can tell by the engine's response that it's working and to be honest I'm glad it doesn't (noticeably) whine when running. - Installation Notes - The instructions are simple, except for two points: 1) you need an 8mm TBI screw head, not a 10mm screw head as the instructions say; 2) You really need to trim the engine cover for a good fit. The engine cover snaps onto the ball joints without undercutting them, but it fits snugly against the TBI actuator, creating a "tight fit." I used a dremel tool to cut 3/8" from the cap around the drive and that cleaned up the mess (see pics).
