Review on Pirelli Cinturato P7 205/55 R16 91V summer by Adela Corlan ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unsatisfactory, upset by this product.

Unfortunately, when I balanced the wheel after installing the much-touted Pirelli Cinturato P7 225/60 R17 99V tires, I found that as much as 60 grams had come out on the inner rim. Which is complete nonsense when talking about German manufacturing. During the colder months, I replaced the regular weights with lighter Goodyear Ultragrip Ice Arctic studded weights. After I go behind the wheel and assess how the other indications are doing, I will remark further. The implication is that Pirelli has hired BEHIND THE DRIVE to do everything that has been claimed. I'll get a new one as soon as I can.

Pros
  • 1) 225/60-17 is the size I need. Solid walls, secondly.
Cons
  • Large disparity between the cost and quality of imported rubber. On both dry and wet pavement, I witnessed the drive wheels slipping without making a squealing noise, indicating low grip. Prior to Michelin, tires screeched when they broke down but performed well in both wet and dry conditions. Third, it is possible to slide into a ditch while driving on wet priming that has been covered with clay. It has been tested, and neither TRC nor anti-yuz will work. 4. Wow, that was loud!
