Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Pro Tire Kenda Slant Six by David Herrera

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Carry quickly. for sport

This is a low lip tire with minimal profile and a very fast roll. After installing it two months ago, I immediately felt a drop in rolling resistance. The grip is very good despite the low profile. I rode hardpack, loose rocks, sandy bottom over rocks, light mud and quite a bit of road to get to the trail. It's 29x2.0 at the rear. I also have a 29x2.2 Slant Six up front. Good traction, but seems to wobble a bit from the original Specialized Captain Sport 29x2.0 that came standard front and rear. Overall I'm happy with the handling and low rolling resistance, but I don't think they will last long. After two months of riding once or twice a week for about ten kilometers, the rear triangle starts to wear out noticeably. Compared to my original tyres, which lasted me over two years, I am disappointed. Maybe it should be racing tires? I have not seen this printed anywhere on Kenda's website or anywhere else. I review every purchase I make, I'm not rich so believe me I read about tires until I get bored. If they last a year at this rate I'll be lucky. If the compound was a little stiffer for longer life, or if Kenda marketed it as a race tire that wasn't meant to last, I wouldn't have any downsides. we say. There are a lot of people who say they pinch with them, I've had no problems and I run through rock gardens quite aggressively, sometimes with the occasional rim bump that can be felt. When it comes down to it, I run Slime Tubes. This bike has never had a flat tire in two and a half years. I think they are thicker, my old ones had a lot of abrasion and a bolt point when I pulled them out but never pinched even bleeding a little.
