Sad Gnarled Tire: Cycling

My worn out tire, mtn Continental Race, has more tread. And Race is the softest MTN tire Continental makes. Don't buy if you ride trails

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Crumpled Package

Great tire at a great price

Great tire at a great price. Great grip on those steep, chunky, loose climbs that I like. They cope well with the driving conditions here in Arizona. I would recommend this tire to anyone driving in these conditions.

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Ideal for asphalt roads at the rear.

Great tire for a dry hard back and the DTC seems to wear out fairly well but provides solid traction. It's also a great compromise tire for a bike that can be used on trail/trail with low rolling resistance but still has good traction on paved paths.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Great all-round tire!

Good tire! Ryde Island Lake Rec. District in MI. Fast easy trail, typically dry easy with hard packing. We've had record-breaking rain this summer and it's done very well in the more slippery "sloppy" conditions. Did a few rides and played with the air pressure to get them just right. They also work great on paved paths!

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Without automatic transmission

I really like this tire!

I'm embarrassed to say how old my rear tire was, but rest assured the handlebars were short and the rubber was hard. This Kenda S6 is AWESOME! I only did ten miles off road on Sunday and the improvement was amazing! I ride in the So-Cal area so it's tightly packed, sand, rocks and some dirt. The grip I got with this new rear tire just made me smile. In fact, the rear triangle on my "not new" Fisher MTB is now so good that I have to use a Kenda S6 in the front. I almost fell because of the old…

Carry quickly. for sport

This is a low lip tire with minimal profile and a very fast roll. After installing it two months ago, I immediately felt a drop in rolling resistance. The grip is very good despite the low profile. I rode hardpack, loose rocks, sandy bottom over rocks, light mud and quite a bit of road to get to the trail. It's 29x2.0 at the rear. I also have a 29x2.2 Slant Six up front. Good traction, but seems to wobble a bit from the original Specialized Captain Sport 29x2.0 that came standard front and…

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

Great REAR TIRE for dry and rocky terrain Good FRONT TIRE

This is my third Slant Six tire. This one weighed exactly 700 grams. I am planning to use this new tire on the rear of my 29er hardtail, I also bought a Kenda Nevegal 2.2 for the front (830g). I will review this tire once I have driven it a few miles. I currently have Slant Six tires on the front and rear of my bike, they have lasted about 1.5 years riding 2 or 3 times a week in the Arizona desert. 90% trail and 10% road to get to the trail. We have a lot of rocky terrain, loose soil and sand…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
