Bought this primarily to share music and voice activated intercom (VOX) with my passenger. The units work well for the most part. Intercom mode is very finicky. When both devices are connected in intercom mode, VOX sensitivity becomes unpredictable. Sometimes you need to yell to activate communication, and other times you just need to giggle. And my biggest complaint. When using an intercom and sharing music, there is 20 seconds of silence before the music resumes. 20 LONG SECONDS. The giggles stop, the music resumes after 20 seconds, the sneeze after 20 seconds. Disabling VOX is out of the question because I need 2 hands to operate the car, I can't use the button, wait for the intercom mode to activate, talk and then press to deactivate. So VOX mode is a must for me. If SENA configured this waiting time (20 seconds) in the app for shorter intervals, then I can see that this device was very good. So when sharing music, don't talk, don't breathe too heavily, don't giggle, don't sneeze, unless you want to suspend the system, you guessed it. 20 seconds. By the way, in the music release mode, you cannot use the transition from music to the background, this is a full-fledged music pause. Background music blanking is for a headset that doesn't stream music, which sucks. If the transition to the background worked when sharing music, then the 20-second pause issue wouldn't exist. Would I buy this product again, probably not. If there were no way to shorten the timeout intervals and/or play music in the background in shared mode when talking to a passenger on the intercom.
