So far so good. There are no leaks yet. It appears to be made of a fairly durable material that won't tear or puncture, but I won't put it to the test. I haven't noticed any off-flavors either, but I'll confess that I'm not the pickiest person when it comes to the taste of water. I was a little concerned that the bite valve is very tight, but turns out you need very light pressure to open it. Regardless, it still won't leak if you don't bite. You can turn off the water flow by turning the bite valve, which is nice and works well, but I think I might have preferred the on/off switch a bit more on the Camelbaks. But it was $13 less than Camelbak in the same size and has a much better bite valve so I still think it's a better product. My camelbak lasted 10 years before it started leaking so time will tell if that holds up.
