I was very happy to receive my Soyabella in the mail. A few days earlier I bought a big bag of almonds and cashews to experiment with in the kitchen for a few hours. To my dismay both milk grids did not connect to the head unit as instructed in the instructions. Full rotation, the milk screen will click and then just disappear. I figured I might be doing it wrong so I decided to twist the milk strainer to the point before it clicks and separates from the main unit. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. After the second grind, the screen came loose from the head unit and began cracking inside the decanter. He spilled some milk before I could react and hit the off button. I had a plan, but it was a bad plan. I thought maybe I just had a bad milk strainer, so I tried a second one and got the same result. This had happened once and we returned to Revane. I still want to make my own almond milk but it will be under a different brand. If it's any consolation, it made decent milk.
