Review on Ensun Crankcase Vent Valve Oil Separator Kit: BMW N52 E90 E91 E60 E61 E85 E86 Replacement #11617531423 by Justin Reese

Installed last week. I've only driven the car a few hundred kilometers, but for the moment it's working perfectly. The CEL is deactivated and the oil leak that the separator blew through the ventilation system seems to be fixed. Originally the code I got was the MAF code. I bought another MAF and the car ran really bad. Did a smoke test to find that the line on the other side of the engine to the separator was not only broken but spewing out oil that shouldn't have been in the line. Indicates a defective separator and hose. This kit fits well and appears to be exactly the same as the original. I would recommend the whole set if you are replacing a single line or separator as once I removed the manifold I found that all of these lines were either broken when the manifold was removed being very brittle or cracked from the start were. In any case, if you get a MAf code or codes that refer to MAF, you can check those lines first.
