My eyes were getting incredibly dry and my optometrist recommended I take and use a moisturizer at night. I went down the humidifiers rabbit hole and was really concerned about their cleanliness. I used the tank style that you can buy at all stores but I choked on the mold that had formed on the bottom shell and rinsing around the tank with soapy water never erased it. I didn't think inhaling mold was worth it. Also, it seemed counterintuitive to my allergy issues I was trying to alleviate. This is amazing stuff. It looks very clean, modern and simple. It's ridiculously easy to clean and only takes a few minutes. I clean it every 3-4 days and it literally takes a few minutes, I fill it up and it's ready to go. Even if you clean it every few days there is still mold on the internal parts which makes me so thankful to be able to clean every part. It's incredibly quiet, even without the quiet cone on it. It's easily adjustable. It's very easy to add water - traditional tanks always drip a ton of water when you take them out to fill - I just use a jug and can add when I need to with no mess. The only thing I don't like is the green light on the stick. I understand the purpose of this but I prefer my bedroom to be as dark as possible. I stuck a piece of tape on it and quickly solved my problem.
