I ordered a medium size but am pretty sure I got the small. Luckily they fit my 8 year old perfectly! They can be slightly form-fitting, but they can also be worn with just the shoulder straps instead of pulling the entire sleeve over the knee or elbow. Because of this, they should sit well on her for at least a year or two. The product itself appears to be quite durable and has already been scratched and scuffed (which is the purpose to keep my child from scratching and scratching). All in all a solid product! Will most likely order again on Wednesday when she outgrows a small.
