I hung one of these in an overhead light over a barn door and it is extremely sensitive to movement. To the right of the door, about eight feet below the bulb and about three feet to the right of it, I have pampas grass behind a three foot fence, and the pampas grass that sways on windy nights constantly triggers it: ON.OFF.ON.OFF .ALL NIGHT.LONG.So I cut the pampas grass and as soon as the leaves began to fall from our large oak tree in the backyard, on windy nights the wind blew the leaves on the motion sensor. Zone and ON.off.ON.off.ALL.NIGHT.LONG. Without a sensitivity control, I find this useless so far and irritates me and our neighbors, who keep wondering why the light stays on. off.ON.off.THE.ALL.NIGHT.LONG.Once all the leaves are off the trees I turn it back on and at least I can use it in the winter. and in the spring I will make sure the pampas looks good enough not to provoke it or just remove the pampas. I wish it had a little rheostat screw to adjust the sensitivity.
