Review on Nexus 7 by Google ASUS (2012) Tablet - 7-Inch, 8 GB, Brown (ASUS-1B08) by Jason Hutchinson

Came as advertised with OS 4.4. After MANY updates (and hours) it has been updated to OS 5.1.1 (they are forced - there is no way to stop them). These updates made it slow with constant freezes and random reboots. A factory reset helped some, but it still restarted while sitting on the counter. Each time it restarted, the app would fully initialize, and the only solution was to not restart it when connected to the network. The seller was very responsive, but their "solution" was to roll it back to a previous OS. It should work with the latest operating system without any tricks or workarounds. Returned and bought another "nameless" brand which came out of the box with 5.1.1. Turned it on, installed my apps and it works great.
