Works, but be VERY careful with non-HDMI 2.0+ computers. This issue does not affect consoles

Works well so far, but ONLY for HDMI 2.0+ (additional [and long] note below). The problem seems to be that it's not backwards compatible at all with computer hardware that only includes HDMI 1.X Bought it to help my brother combine the outputs of multiple devices on a very HD display, but now when he has a new monitor (no speakers as implied), simple additional speakers and composes a desktop. Devices that automatically try to transmit audio over the HDMI channels - its consoles - (or have dedicated channels, e.g. RCA combined with HDMI - its GameCube) work fine, because they are actually placed in /dev/audio or bust - not considering that /dev/audio can be /dev/null. --- However, none of the tested laptops work with it as they have cheaper boards with only HDMI 1.4. Or less. Tested on both Windows 10 laptops and Debian GNU+Linux laptops. However, I tested it on my RX 580 (running Debian) and it works. Since my brother has a card of the same lineage, he will also have 2.0+ support on desktop. However, his laptop is not good (as are my father's and sister's laptops). --- TL;DR: If you DO NOT have HDMI 2.0+, you NEED an additional adapter unless it's a console and/or you're just randomly trying to send audio over the HDMI channels. (Or in the case of his GameCube, if the device doesn't have HDMI, but you're forcing the audio-only and video-only channels into one (RCA to HDMI in this case) since they have cheaper boards with only HDMI 1.4 or less.
