I would like to start by saying that I care a lot about the quality of the products or the absence of them. So let's start with my first impressions upon opening the filter. The filter housings seem quite massive, it is quite difficult to unscrew the threads, but this part of the filter is nice to the touch. Maybe I'll move to a bigger tank in the future. I spoke to apec customer service and found them very knowledgeable and helpful. Well spoken and friendly, willing to take as much time as needed to answer any of my questions. I was impressed with Jennifer, the girl I spoke to. This is a very big plus for me. Apec is a good American company, I'm glad I can support them. I'll update from time to time and try to answer people's questions. The filter and faucet have worked flawlessly so far. My water jugs fill up faster than the 5 gallon dispenser I used before. Thought I would have this filter for years to come and would rather spend a little more to get the best
