I want to start by saying that this theme is great, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I would love to be able to use all of this for my projects because it's awesome, but I stopped using it after seeing how much it breaks even in a simple design. I had an SE400 (which I returned as I wanted). slightly larger for my needs) and now I have a PE770. I've been working on several projects on both machines and this thread was fraying almost every 5 seconds, it was driving me crazy having to adjust the tension all the time (thought that was the problem, rethreading etc). I have destroyed many t-shirts/jumpsuits trying to find the right design and it was awful. I've changed the upper thread tension (didn't change anything, still frays), bought new needles, Brother bobbins, but still the same problem. I read many reviews about thread being very important. I bought this Embroidex yarn because it looked very nice and I thought that the low price doesn't mean that the quality is also bad, but I was wrong. I've used this thread for all the projects I've messed up, but I said try to buy a more expensive thread (Polystar brand) to see if it would make a difference. Guess what? A miracle happened. No thread breaks, no readjustment of the thread tension, no ruined projects. I went through a very complex and intricate design and the thread only broke once (in a very difficult part of the design and not 200 times for the whole design like Embroidex), otherwise no problems. I can't believe this is the same embroidery machine. Don't settle for cheaper quality as the end product will be the same and it will also ruin your car which will end up spending more money on repairs. This may be fine for other embroidery machines, but not for both mines. that does not work. What makes me sad is that I wasted my money and have all these 40 rolls that they can't use and have no idea what to do with them as I can't get them back.
