This stuff is so much less messy than either playdoh or slime. It's not crumbly like playdoh, and doesn't stick to everything like slime. It's a fun consistency. So fluffy and soft. Fluffy and airy, holds its shape. Air dries up into something like a fine grained foam. It's fun for the kids to make creatures and let them dry and play with them later. It actually smells nice too. Kinda fruity. Once opened it doesn't last super well, it's not something you play with the same pack of it over and over again like playdoh. But my kids usually like make things with it and let them dry. The dry end result is much sturdier than dry playdoh because it isn't fragile. Not meant to be put through playdoh machines. It's much thicker and softer than playdoh, but cookie cutters and rolling pins work great on it.
