Self Destruct - Kitchen & Dining

This item was purchased and used to store cooked food in the fridge. It served its purpose until yesterday when I added baked zucchini and zucchini to the container. A few minutes later, after adding chopped garlic to the container, it literally self-destructed in a very small explosion, leaving glass on the sink, countertop, and floor. Using this product appears to be dangerous. ordered a Pyrex container from Revain.
