🔴 Anchor Hocking Classic Glass Food Storage Container: Red Lid, 11 Cup, Clear - 77931 Review

I bought this product and after the first wash the lid broke off in the corner. Very disappointing. I like the size of the container but it's useless without a lid. I would like a mug for 12 with a sealable lid.

I have already bought a pair of glasses and as always it is difficult to determine the dimensions without inspecting them in person, even using a tape measure to evaluate. You need at least one larger glass container. This is a very good size. With a plastic lid, there is no known how tight it is, like the ones that snap in. This currently meets the need.

This was purchased and used for refrigerated cooked meals. It served its purpose until yesterday when I added baked zucchini and zucchini to the container. A few minutes later, after adding chopped garlic to the container, it literally self-destructed in a very small explosion, leaving glass on the sink, countertop, and floor. Using this product appears to be dangerous. ordered a Pyrex container from Revain.

I did not purchase this from Revain but did purchase a set of the exact same type from Anchor Hocking at a local store. I use them all the time. I've had it for about 2 years now and the jar is still great even after it's been in the freezer, microwave and oven. However, lids are absolutely NOT dishwasher safe. After the second time in the dishwasher they all broke. If hand washed I would give 5 stars. If not, choose the Pyrex brand with blue caps.

Large glass food container with red lids. Glass is easy to clean, doesn't absorb odors and stains, and we use it to serve dishes every day. The red lids are thinner than some and only have a slight plastic odor (compared to many competitors) and fit well, but some don't seal very tightly, which is necessary for liquids etc. The thickness of the glass makes them heavy when full but the shape/height is comfortable for small hands too.
