I've spent a lot of time making sure these pedals are securely attached to the bike's crank. I took my bike outside to ride. The right pedal slipped out of my hand and the pedal came loose. I also have a scratch on my leg. I tried to screw the pedal back onto my hand but the pedal had already injured my hand. The threads are broken. I have returned this product. I need to either rethread the connecting rod or replace the connecting rod. Local bike shops are insanely busy these days and there is also a shortage of bike straps. I suggest going to a local bike shop first and see if you can get bike parts there.
