These extenders work great. They are not as strong compared to ceramic extensions but are much lighter. Historically, incandescent and halogen bulbs have conflated with the extension cords used in my track light boxes because of heat build up inside. Since I've been using LED lamps, it doesn't bother me anymore. Due to the plastic and metal construction, I would only recommend them for LED bulbs or glasses with good airflow (cooling). If any of them don't work, check to see if the copper contact at the base of the socket is bent so that it touches the bulb.
