Best hook except

I crochet A LOT! I do gifts, but mostly I make hats for newborns, cancer patients and the homeless. I use all types of stitches and multiple weights of yarn. Sometimes I can knit 2-3 hours a day listening to a really good book. I've tried every hook from the cheapest all metal hooks to the best Boye hooks. I have certain preferences for a good hook, with my "must" requirements being an ergonomic handle, a smooth hook and shank, and a hook that won't break my yarn on a straight or pull stroke (I thought it would just work). and linear hook but I was wrong these are tapered hooks and they work like a dream!) My fighters were my favorites until I tried my first Clover Armor hook. The difference was IMMEDIATELY obvious! I'm not sure what they do with the hook and shank (metal parts) of these ergonomic hooks, but the Clover Armors hook and shank aren't as shiny as Boye's or others, and it's not that shiny metal, this glides so easily and smoothly through the yarn that the difference was immediately noticeable. Smooth as a baby's bottom! The hook doesn't break my threads (I only use medium, light, and sport threads). The hook also doesn't pull on the yarn, doesn't "pop out," and requires no tugging. The reduction in hand fatigue was amazing. i can never go back The best crochet hooks!
