I took a chance because there were no reviews when I placed the order and I am very happy with the purchase. First, I like how easy it is to assemble/disassemble. In addition, the height allows you to place the cup under the spout when pouring. I also love everything black. And the fact that there are two spout sizes is a big plus as I have both sizes of water jugs. The lids are well made and easy to attach. Read on if you want me to compare it to another stand. I have another stainless steel trivet (brand unknown) that doesn't have room to put a pouring cup underneath. The spout protrudes over the table top. So you have to place it right on the edge of the counter and then tilt the mug to pour. I have a toddler who likes to "play with water" and can easily access the spout when standing on the edge, so I had to find something with the perfect height and thickness to place the stand on to accommodate it to be able to move away. keep away from edge when not in use. Also, setting the pitcher on the stand is difficult due to the height and angle, causing the stand to swing up like a swing at times when you try to set the pitcher up. It also doesn't break like the Briso stand, so it's awkward to carry/pack if you're trying to transport it. It came with a White Water Co spout which is very difficult to fit due to threading issues and frequent leaks. It has non-slip grips on the bottom, which seems to be a plus, but I found that pointless (unless you plan to put the stand on an incline, which I can't imagine is a common problem). The handles just mean you have to lift the entire water stand/jug if you need to move it (which can be tricky). A water jug's weight is usually enough to hold it in place and since I have low cabinets I prefer to be able to move it around without breaking my back.
