In the photo it looks like tape, but these are ordinary compression fittings.
In the photo above, the compression fitting looks rounded like a braid. The order I received is a 45 degree cone on both ends, just what I needed to finish my oil pump assembly in my Bridgeport mill. A bit pricey, but 5/32 compression fittings are not very common.
