*Updated October 2022: after receiving a replacement, the controller is working how it’s suppose to. No glitches, or gliding and nothing is rattling around inside. I bet the first one I received was damaged during shipping. The battery life is great, It holds a charge for a good 6-8 hrs. While gaming the controller reacts precisely and that’s what I’m really looking for. Love the extra thumb grips and uses a c type cable.I wanted to like this controller based off the other great reviews. Unfortunately, My PS4 started giving me error " this is not an official controller and may not function properly” within the first 10 minutes of opening it, follows by non-stop freezing and glitching. The down button on the D-Pad randomly presses itself and the "share” screen pops up constantly. The whole controller (not the game, I checked) decided to completely freeze and become unresponsive, yet still had it’s lights on. I had to connect a different controller in order for it to turn off. It’s also a little too light-weight and you can hear something rattling around inside.Something positive: I do like the design, the extra thumb grips, and the battery holds a charge of about 4-6 hours and charges using a USB-C that is provided.I give it 2 stars for design and extras that came with it. There’s so much potential, but It’s just not worth it for the price and headache.
