One of the few things I was able to keep from my youth was this old-fashioned table lamp. I don't know how many times that thing almost ended up in the donation basket. Do companies still use halogen lamps today? The little sticker below says to use a 12V 50W Max JC bulb. So here it is. You can use 30W, I chose 50W because the lamp has two brightness settings. This is only the second time I've replaced this bulb in almost 30 decades of owning it. Replacing a lightbulb is a little sketchy, as you have to wiggle it and you'll hear the ceramic holder scraping and squeaking, as well as sounds like the glass breaking. I used a napkin to hold the lightbulb so it wouldn't leave a mark. It works, only time will tell how many more years it will exist.
