Review on WEPIGEEK Foldable Controller Mobile Phone Holder/Cellphone Clamp/Clip Compatible with Xbox One/Xbox One S/Steelseries Nimbus/SteelSeries Stratus XL/Steam Controllers (Excluding Controller) by Russ Conrad

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The Stadia Controller is here. It works, but with a few catches.

I recently bought a Stadia controller to try out and found that the moment I played Destiny 2 on my phone I was blown away by their service. To that end, I tried to find a claw for less than $10 that would hold my phone while I was gaming on the controller. Since I'm using an Otter Box, my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has extra width, so I've crossed out some other claws that wouldn't extend far enough. That left him pretty much the only candidate, and I was nervous because no one had ever attempted this with a Stadia controller. Well, I can tell you for sure that when you press it down onto the controller from the top, it fits like a glove and is amazingly reliable. I was worried it would scratch the controller when I tried it, but the Stadia is made of a more durable material I thought. However, there is a catch: it blocks the connection for headphone jacks. Now it's not the worst thing in the world; My phone doesn't have a headphone jack, so I have bluetooth headphones. But that means you can't leave the claw on if you want to play an online game on your TV. In any case, I can use my phone more safely. Another catch: when you fold the claw without the phone, it actually blocks the joysticks from reaching their full range of motion. You can position it directly over the controller, but if you're not playing Stadia with your phone, it's probably better to remove the claw. However, this comes in handy for portability. Another hook is not in the device. I didn't quite get how light this controller was; Putting the phone in the claw adds some weight that you will have to get used to. Luckily, a small retractable stand on the bottom prevents the assembled unit from falling completely. To be honest, these bars make a four-star rating for use with a Stadia controller, but I'm still VERY happy with these limitations. , I no longer have to worry about finding a place for my phone when I use it. If you need something under $10 for your Stadia controller, this will help.
