Exactly what we needed!

A friend of mine had a 2012 Mac mini with a 500GB spinner and we wanted to install a 1TB SSD in it. The plan was to swap out the HDD, but when we opened up his machine, it turned out that it was in the "top" bay, which is also quite difficult to access. After ordering this kit, we were able to put the SSD in the 'bottom' bay (which is accessible without removing the motherboard), which allowed it to work with either drive!
