Review on 🔧 Gates 38178 DriveAlign: The Ultimate Automatic Belt Drive Tensioner by Polo Acri

Gate tension springs are very different from springs from some other brands. They have several videos that explain it. I had an issue with chirping and Gates recommends replacing the tensioner along with a new belt. At first I just put on a new belt and chirped anyway. Received this Gates product and won't tweet anymore. Gates says the springs in the tensioner are rusting, which isn't usually very visible. I assume that as the tensioner ages, the applied tension will gradually ease off somewhat.
