Energy Efficient, Excites Except BlueTooth

Purchased for cabin with solar panels and 12 volt power supply. Consumes only 1W for radio, BT or AUX input. Consumes 2.6 W for a CD. Uses a 5v input and I had a Garmin 12v to 5v car adapter to power it, but DROK makes a buck converter too. The audio got tinny when the volume was turned up so I replaced the speakers with 40 year old Lafayette 8 ohm speakers and now the sound is great from all sources. Lots of volume but no EQ, bass/treble controls or channel balance. Just plugged in BT and played music from my phone for five minutes then turned it off! Did that several times. I gave it a star for that, don't buy if you want to use BT, but you can still connect your phone's headphone output to the AUX jack with a male-to-male cable. Does not broadcast to BT devices so speakers need to be connected. It was disappointing that the backup batteries only work for the watch, so disconnecting from the network means losing all settings, including favorite stations. Must turn it off as it consumes 0.2W to maintain remote response even when the device is off. The remote control works reliably at close range. I am delighted with this device and I hope it lasts a long time!
