I love this set! I got this because I was beginning to realize how toxic a metal pan can be, so I bought these lead-free. Plus they look SO BEAUTIFUL! I haven't used it for baking, but I've used it for baking warm bread I've been making and it's worked fine. Also, the paint is under a protective layer so it doesn't flow. I also love the freebie and how the tongs can stay put on such a surface. One thing to keep in mind is that initially the chemical/paint smell with the freebie is BAD. But once you've aired it out and washed it with soap during the day, you're good to go. Just to be aware.
