This thing has a very strong flexible gooseneck that actually holds my heavy iPad Pro 12.9 in the Zugu sleeve. The problem is the thinner white top of the neck which isn't rigid enough to support my device. I can understand why they added this detail as the floor is so stiff it takes two hands to move it into its new position. However, it just doesn't fit my heavier device. However, I fix this by simply allowing the top to flex wherever it is and then adjusting the bottom stiff to the correct position to compensate for the sag, basically leaving the top in the equation. This is great for lying down and watching movies or YouTube in bed when I want my body to be more aligned and not bother my hips/sacroiliac joints from sitting too much. I was afraid this thing would fall on my face, but the gripping hand keeps it in place very well! The base clip is very well made, the rubber grips and the whole thing tightens to feel very solid. When I first set it up with an 'n' shaped neck it was starting to tilt closer to me but I read up to try an 'S' shape towards the swan neck to fix this which I did did with success. We'll see how this product performs over time. So far, so good. not perfect but works
