Fantastic rashguard with long sleeves! I increased the size to ensure my tall 9 year old had enough length to cover his butt. He is 5 feet and 100 pounds. The shirt is light, comfortable, well washed, does not roll down. It is good in 90-100 degree heat. It's a little translucent when wet, but not a problem for a boy. If you are ordering for a girl then I recommend a bikini top for him.
