Good quality lightweight polyester base layer, very happy with it. The XL pants fit almost perfectly for my 11 year old son who is 5ft 2" and 100lbs. The waist was a little loose at his 27-28" waist, but they held up well. The XL shirt, on the other hand, runs huge. It's barely bearable for his build and barely fits in the sleeves of his 5ft 9in, 160lb weight Dad's, an oversized shirt would probably go perfectly with XL pants.
