Review on πŸ“± Spigen Rugged Armor Pro for Galaxy Watch 4 Classic - Charcoal Gray Case with 46mm Band by Chris Thrower

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality case for smartwatch watch case with band

EDIT - As I see more and more reviews I would like to point out that the standard charger that comes with the watch works 100%. I still have the plastic on the charger and it snaps easily onto the watch. I have a Samsung Trio charger and it does NOT work with the Trio. END EDIT === EDIT 2 -- I read a review about the bezel not being easy to use. Let me just say that the bezel area to the left of the case allows for free rotation of the bezel. my thumb rests comfortably on the bezel when I want to rotate it, and I think it's in the best place (I wear the watch on the left). We will all have different experiences with this case, but as this is my first encounter with this case I find the bezel easy to use. Stylish watch strap with metal clasp. I became aware of this watch "case" through a forum post and when I saw the pictures of this watch case, I bought it immediately. Phone accessories and I'm glad they made this 4 Classic watch case. In the photos I have the 46mm LTE variant. I know Spigen did this for older models but this is my first time using their watch case so I can't tell how it compares to older versions but what I can tell is that the case is of the highest quality. The case is solid and feels sturdy. Putting the watch in the case can be tricky as the case is virgin but if you follow the official video that is posted at the top of the webpage and click on the appropriate spot you will have no problem. Give it a good, solid, even press on the watch itself. The holes line up perfectly for the buttons and the screen is as usual to touch in all areas. There is a cutout for the bezel on the left side of the case and this is the only place you have access to the bezel. This is nothing new as you can see from the photos. I'm used to rotating the bezel on the right hand side, so it would take a little adjustment to change my muscle memory. I will say that if you wear your watch on your left hand, when you put your right hand on the watch your thumb will naturally rest on the bezel, so turning it shouldn't be a problem. I am satisfied with this watch case. It's a departure from my usual metal buckle straps, but I really like that rugged look.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • For old
