I am not satisfied with this purchase. The collar has 5 bark sensitivities, 5 of which are the most sensitive. At 5, if my dog lays down too hard, he'll squeak at him. Meanwhile, he often doesn't squeak with a bark! Selective signal for barking. Anything below 5 is useless. The remote setup works well enough, but sometimes you have to press the button a few times for it to beep. There are 3 automatic (bark) settings. just beeps. The beeps will then vibrate. Beep, then shock. According to the instructions, the remote control should reflect the setting. For a while I thought it would only change with a beep, which frustrated me. It switches modes but it doesn't show up on the remote as shown in the instructions. Vibration and shock are set the same! I used to dial a number to turn on the vibration and the shock followed. I never use a shock but if I accidentally press the button it shocks at such a high level that the shock/vibration levels cannot be separated. Despite all these issues, I'm giving it two stars because the remote beep mode works well on my girlfriend. This gets her attention and helps her listen. If it wasn't for this small win I would rate 0 if I could.
