Every time I turned my head with the Oculus Rift S, I started to stutter. I've narrowed it down to something to do with either USB power delivery or data transfer speed or latency. Whatever the reason, it didn't work properly with USB 3.0, 3.1 or 3.1g. THIS CONVERTER FIXES EVERYTHING. After plugging this device directly into my GPU's virtual port and using it as a USB port, the Oculus Rift S has perfect tracking without stuttering. It's huge. I have no doubt that people with this headset will think their problems are related to their GPU. their environment, their processor or just the limitations of the technology that will benefit the most from this device and I would recommend it to anyone who has a Rift S and a virtual channel port. In fact, anyone with an unused virtual circuit port should buy one. I can use it for my external drives and such through the same port when I need monstrous bandwidth for large transfers.
