Review on 🚜 Enhanced Performance 2" Lift Kit for John Deere Gator 625i / 825i / 855D - Improved Fitment by Micky Lovett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's not easy with Gator if you don't have the right tools.

Purchased for a 2015 John Deere 825 S 4. If you go to the Super ATV website, they say it's a simple bolt on kit. If you put it on JD xuv, it really isn't. I don't usually write reviews, but since it took me a few hours to do this and then spent a lot more time than I expected, I wanted people to know. There is a video on You Tube of a guy mounting this kit on a cf moto. He seems to have made it in about an hour. Slide the 3.1" webbing onto the spring to compress and you're done. If you have a Gator, take 3.2" straps and the strongest grips you can find and clamp the bottom in a vise. I'm sure someone makes a supercharger for this, but JD doesn't and the supercharger from the standard cargo kit won't fit. Make sure these are straps you can remove the bolt from so you don't use the original fixed end and make a full loop with it because unlike Moto's video your Gator springs are too short to fit the strap like that to use as is. I destroyed 4 1" straps before going back to the store for a 2" strap. My front turned out to be 3 inches tall. I'm not sure about the back. Looks good. But if you put that on an alligator, brace yourself for a fight.
