I use this on the back of my 2nd row captain seats in my 2012 Kia Sedona along with a load mat that extends to the rear Pulling up half of the seat leaves way. The combination of both restrains my small and medium sized dogs. This setup is mainly for your security. My dogs are not aggressive stalkers to get around barriers and the setup worked great. I'll probably get another one of these for the back of my 2012 Ford Escape. You'll need additional bungee cords or other types of cords to decently secure the bottom of this barrier. The package you receive is enough to fix the top to the headrests, but it is not enough and you need to fix the bottom as well. The manufacturer should really install at least 2 additional elastics. I like the product but am annoyed by the lack of a bungee to secure the floor. I think MFG doesn't cover that well.
