Safe place for older pug

We have 3 older small dogs and a very active younger dog. One of our older pugs has been suffering from canine dementia for a few months now when he's restless around 3:30am every night. She slept with us for years but it got harder and now she has trouble controlling her cravings for potty training. We put diapers on her at night but needed a safe place to sleep so we could get some sleep too. This box is great for that. We bought an in-between size which is great for the brown and white dog you see in the photo of her should the need arise in the future. Our pug rolls over at night to get comfortable and this allows him to do so without losing his balance or falling over. The assembly went well. The tray is ideal for any accidents that might happen. We use a side door and it's easy to get in and out. It's not noisy so we didn't have to worry about door latches or issues with them. She has moved to the next level very well and now sleeps until 5am which was her previous wake up time for breakfast and out of the house. We'll sleep through the night too, although I'll check them twice more. The box next to our bed. It's hard not to leave her with us at night, but the cage helped her sleep and helped us sleep too. I recommend it to an older dog that needs a safe place to rest. I also like that it's big enough to fit our 10lb Maltese in if needed as he's growing up too (and they're best friends). The truth is, when you need a transitional space for an older dog whose life is nearing its end, a box will give us peace of mind as we go through the process. She had no problem sleeping there and getting the rest she needed.
