Works as advertised

I bought this for a VW Touareg v10 to get around an issue with LED trailer lights. It works as advertised, no complaints about it when fitted well. I recommend that you connect the trailer cable first and then connect everything to the vehicle right away so that the automatic trailer detection works properly. The only thing I would wish for more is that it was more compact. The trailer exit is at an angle of approximately 45 degrees to the horizontal. The length of this then brings the outlet a few inches closer to the ground. A shorter body reduces this problem.
