If you've never tried these they'll revolutionize the way you drink - now I always keep a bottle Champagne open for"one glass" only. Fits in 95% of the bottles I've tried and stays fresh for a week or two - you can even keep it back in the wine cooler on the side. It loses some of its shine every time you open it, but not by much, and it's almost as fresh for 4 jars as it was for the first jar! (Champagne, cava, and sparkling rosé don't seem to oxidize like regular wine.) For those unaffected by this, remember that just like with cola, moving/squeezing after opening will kill the carbonation, regardless of whether it is is well closed. The same applies to multiple openings. If you're transporting, carry it in your hands instead of putting it in your bag (it's also very easy to accidentally pop the cap off when the bottle is in something) and you'll get a 4+ reopening of it.
