When my son was a month old I tried trimming his nails with scissors and clipped him. He was fine after 5 minutes but I was nervous for days and felt so guilty for what I had done even though I took precautions like slowing down and starting while he was sleeping. Still, I'm so glad I found and ordered this product as I was looking for a solution to not hurt him if he cuts his nails again. They're easy to use, have a nice carrying case with a variety of options from kids to adult nail files/trimming, and don't cut into the skin. It takes some practice to master (can't just file, needs to move to mimic the shape of a nail) but at least I didn't accidentally hurt my baby!
