Definitely worth buying!

This nail file really helped me trim my newborn's razor thin nails. At first I held back because I thought it was completely unnecessary. I could safely cut my first two children's nails without such a device. Then I accidentally cut off too much on my 3rd. So I decided to give it a try. I could safely trim her nails while she slept. I definitely recommend this product. I think it would be a great baby shower gift that mom hadn't thought of.

Perfect for a child! Painless nail cutter

Great nail cutter! Bought for kids. Much easier and faster than using nail clippers and a file, my baby fell asleep while I did her nails. Edit: We've been using the trimmer for 1 year and a few months, it has worked great on baby nails, but now that she's over 1 year old, either the abrasive isn't coarse enough for baby nail strength, or the pad is too worn , but it's not that effective anymore. Although I would still recommend 10/10 for newborns under 1 year old.

No more mother's fault! Best in Baby Care

When my son was a month old I tried trimming his nails with scissors and clipped him. He was fine after 5 minutes but I was nervous for days and felt so guilty for what I had done even though I took precautions like slowing down and starting while he was sleeping. Still, I'm so glad I found and ordered this product as I was looking for a solution to not hurt him if he cuts his nails again. They're easy to use, have a nice carrying case with a variety of options from kids to adult nail…

Not only is this great for babies, it's also great for kids with sensory issues, and it's also the perfect adult manicure kit.

I wish it wasn't like this when my kids were babies because it's a really low whisper! However, this applies not only to babies, but also to older children and adults. Also suitable for children with sensory problems! My son has autism and I've always had a hard time trimming my nails. I tried it on him and WOW he did great! He liked that I filed my nails instead of cutting them, plus it was quick! He didn't have the feeling that comes from cutting his nails. I love him mostly for that alone. I
