I would like to start by saying this is a great monitor. I had a 4k 40 inch Samsung TV with HDR that I used but I moved it to the bedroom because it had problems with stationary pictures. Even my PC's background, which changes every minute, stayed "spooky" for a while and disappeared. And the one that was the worst of the pictures was very problematic. So I had to get something. I wanted a monitor with 4k, HDR and etc. But I want to wait a little while until the price of the tech comes down and the quality stabilizes, but I wasn't sure which monitor I need, 1080p or 1440p, I chose IPS, but TN was also possible .And I was sure I wanted a full 8 bit panel. No 6 bit + frc.I searched and found that although TN this monitor was full 8 bit.I settled on a TN -Panel although I used a Dell I borrowed from my mother in law to salvage my 4k TV This monitor blew me away The good and the great: - 2 HDMI-A holders on the back of the stand, which has a cover to neatly route the HDMI cables - ON FULLY adjustable stand that takes up minimal space - Colors and Viewing Angles: * It's great. This monitor, at least the one I received, produces fantastic colors. I compared it to the photos I was working on and printing and got a match. And calibration showed it reproduced fantastic colors, as did the eye test. The viewing angles are amazing. From the sides it has decent spacing until it shifts slightly reddish for me. Now there's a big shift from top to bottom, but that's not really a problem for me as I never stand and look at a monitor. And the viewing angles from below when I tilt it up or push it up are amazing with very little color change when you tilt it hard. Sitting at the table is usually not a problem. The brightness is amazing. Now I use it in a darker room, but even if the room is bright, sometimes it looks very bright. Actually I had to reduce it a bit. - The monitor has excellent controls. I like the little joystick on the back for navigation and such. This allows you to switch inputs quickly and easily. Excellent response time and no motion blur in games. Cons / Bad things. Although this does not bother me, it can be a minus for someone. Again, if you're sitting in front or just at a slight angle, that's great for me.
