Strong, durable, not too heavy. We have tried many cargo cases and none have held up or failed. It's a bit pricey, but the value is there and easily justifies the extra cost. The material is a dense, abrasion-resistant fabric with a vinyl lining welded to the bottom. The velcro straps are as strong as the stitching and they even hold up to our 75lb German Shorthaired Pointer. The piece covering the backrest or driver and passenger seat is high enough to stop all but the most determined dogs from leaping forward. Fits very well. Not too tight, not too loose, and the anchors will hold securely. As mentioned, the seat belt clearance holes can collect some dirt, debris, hair, etc., but that's not a big deal and it's easy to secure the velcro over the holes if needed. . I will buy it again but this one is unlikely to wear out any time soon.
