Review on Roof Gutter Guard Mesh Plastic by Rob Clark

Not enough clips best in building materials

The jury's not out yet, but I'll update it after the rain. Good: The clamps fit my semicircular gutters perfectly and were easy to install. The material rolls out easily and seems to hold onto the clips well. It can also be easily removed if necessary. Disadvantage: In order for the material not to sag in the gutter, it needs a lot of support. I have a feeling one clip for each leg would work well, but there aren't many. Difficulty: Material is 6 inches wide. While this closes my gutter, it leaves very little overhang. As for the pebbles, when I put the excess on top of the pebbles it creates gaps in a few places leaving plenty of room for the leaves to run underneath and into the gutter. When I put it under the pebbles it's not wide enough to snag anywhere so again it sags in the gutter itself allowing dirt to get into the gutter. I solved this problem by making it as tight as possible and using lots of extra clamps. I think 8 inch wide material might solve the problem. We will continue once they are weather tested.
