Doesn't hum like an old Flowmaster

I had the same Flowmaster model on my 2000 Silverado 2500 for 21 years until the internal baffle rusted. Again it hummed at certain engine speeds/loads. I was hoping based on marketing information that the new one would be a bit quieter overall. Yes, but not as much as I would like. Fortunately, the drone is no longer available, which I like very much.
