Review on 🔧 Enhance Your Cooling System with Stant's High-Quality Metal Adapter by Terrance Singletary

This adapter worked great to check the integrity of the cooling system on a 2004 BMW 330i. When I was looking for an adapter for a cooling system tester, I couldn't tell the difference between the Stant 12030 and the Gates 31380. The images I saw looked the same, but the Revain description for Gates said "thermoplastic" and the Stant said "metal". Gates cost a lot less at the time of purchase so I figured the thermoplastic description might be correct. The photos looked EXACTLY the same, so I bought them both for research purposes. I received parts that were identical in every respect. They look the same, feel the same, weigh the same and have the same branding. In fact, the Gates part has a Stant part number, not a Gates number. I can't guarantee the gates will always be metal, although Revane says they are thermoplastic, but mine is thermoplastic. The more expensive (at the time of my purchase) stunt part is going back.
