Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Park Tool Shimano/Sachs Aris/Sunrace/DNP Epoch Freewheel Remover: The Ultimate Tool for Removing Freewheels by Brent Borseth

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well done! goes well with Shop Tools

Unlike the Chinese imitations of this product, the Park Tool was solidly made and served its purpose despite costing almost twice as much as fakes . It ran on a Shimano freewheel which I had on the bike for almost 3 years although it took quite a bit of torque and some time to figure out how to apply the torque required. Wrench with teeth in the jaws. The reason for this was that the teeth caused the wrench to slip off when a large amount of torque was applied, causing the end of the tool to break off. Using an adjustable wrench with no gripping teeth with a cheat bar works better (it doesn't have to be very long), although you may have to play with your position to get the right amount of down force to actually remove the freewheel included. bike for years. I had a metal bar/rod I removed from a broken chair and it did the job well.

Pros
  • Has an oversized 15mm through hole to accept 14mm solid axles
Cons
  • Long delivery time
