I bought an S60 and an S80 and wow what a difference when the quality of the S80 is at the top. If you can get an S60 for less than two Benjamins and you're on a tight budget, then that's acceptable. Get this for a college student or someone who isn't into slick text like me. The S80 has much better image quality, thanks to the 60+ ppi increase over the S60. This 4k bump is just what I needed to keep from going crazy with jagged text. The default brightness settings aren't set to high enough levels, I don't know why Samsung is doing this, an annoying mistake. But there is a solution for that. Disable "Eco Saving Plus" AND "Eco Sensor Mode". These are two separate settings in the monitor's system menu, disable BOTH and the brightness will increase. It makes me smile while browsing the web and working on office documents and the 4k webcam looks good too, as does the youtoob video. Look at the prices, the S60 was the same price as the S80 online which doesn't make sense as the difference in picture quality should justify a significant price difference. The USB hub works well with a Logitech mouse and keyboard and a Logitech 4k Pro webcam. The stand is easy to raise/lower/tilt. This monitor will work fine until Apple finally releases a consumer display next year, I'll wait patiently.
